How to prepare sea moss?

To prepare sea moss is easy:

  1. Rinse at least 3-4 times with a strainer to get off the sand and salt residue from the sea.

  2. Put in a container with spring water to soak. Make water level about 1 inch above the sea moss.  Adding a few slices of limes/lemons can also help to clean it and reduce ocean taste.

  3. Soak for 4hrs- 24hrs. 

  4. Rinse again.

  5. Blend it with fresh spring water/alkaline water until desired texture. Pour in air tight jar and keep refrigerated.  Will last 3-4 weeks or place in freezer to preserve longer, up to 6months.

How much sea moss should I eat?

We recommend 1-2 tablespoons a day.

How long does sea moss last?

Dried sea moss can last for 1 year from purchase date, when store in a cool dry play. Gel can last 3-4 weeks stored in the fridge. To preserve the get longer place in freezer.

Tip: Place in ice cube try and place cubes in a zip lock bag . Easy to add in smoothies.

Who can take sea moss?

Sea moss is good for all! Children, adults and pregnant /breastfeeding mothers.

Is sea moss safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?

Yes, in moderation and we do recommend you speak to your physician first. While pregnant hormones can get off balance and cause high blood pressure. Sea moss is know to be a great source of Iodine, vitamin B/Folate , Calcium, Iron and Zinc and other vitamins and minerals that can help stay healthy while pregnant and breastfeeding to help stabilize those hormones and blood pressure .

How long does processing and shipping take?

It usually takes 2 days to process order sea moss gel and drinks. Shipping time is about 2-4 days, priority shipping. Shipping will usually take place between Monday-Wednesday to help with any unexpected delays. All other orders 5-7 days.

Packaged/Order received

Packed in insulted bags with ice packs and wrapped in bubble wrap to secure safety and freshness of item(s). Once order is received, IMMEDIATELY place in fridge.

Refund/Exchange

Due to the nature of the item(s) no refunds or exchanges are accepted. If there is damage or you received the wrong order, please take picture and email us. Upon evaluation of photos received, we will provide you with a replacement order right away.
